First of all I will not talk about mobile site programming and coding, I will tell you few thinks what you should know about building wap site.

Screen size
You should understand that mobile phone don’t have such big screen as your personal computer. Then I’m making phone design template for mobile site with image editor program (e.g. Photoshop) I take width 200px window and make design on it, but don’t forget that mobile phone will not resize pictures on mobile page so it is better to use small pictures and put colors on backgrounds.

Validate
Have you ether got error on mobile page? – This problem is because the page you were trying to visit was not valid. By making mobile pages you should always test validation of your page. I suggest to use W3 validator.
